SUDAN GOLD supplied a 40 kg gold shipment from Sudan’s Red Sea State to Zurich, delivering OECD-aligned due diligence documentation that satisfied Switzerland’s strict anti-money laundering and conflict minerals requirements on first submission.
Challenge
The Swiss refinery required full OECD Due Diligence Guidance compliance: proof of legal mining rights, community engagement records, environmental permits, and chain-of-custody logs all in English or French. Previous suppliers lacked on-ground verification capability in Eastern Sudan.
Solution
We compiled GPS-tagged photos of the mine site, verified the operator’s Minerals Ministry license, obtained signed community consent forms from local leaders near Port Sudan, and submitted all records with dual-signed custody logs. The refinery approved the dossier within 24 hours.
