On-site verification at source
We deploy field officers to licensed mine sites across Eastern Sudan, Torit (South Sudan), and Obuasi (Ghana) to verify material before it leaves the yard. Each inspection includes GPS-tagged photos of the batch, weight recorded on calibrated scales, sample sealing in duplicate, and joint sign-off by the producer and our officer. We do not accept shipments without this confirmation paper alone cannot prove origin. Our process aligns with LBMA Responsible Gold Guidance and national mining commission requirements.
“I’ve managed 189 shipments out of Torit since 2020. If the seal isn’t intact or the weight doesn’t match the ledger, it stays in the yard no exceptions. One time, a scale drifted 0.4%; we recalibrated onsite and re-weighed. Better slow than wrong.”
